1ST ANNUAL BILL WENZEL VALENTINE HANDICAP MIXED DOUBLES TOURNAMENT
The 1st Annual Bill Wenzel Valentine Handicap Mixed Doubles Tournament is being held on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at AMF Bradenton Lanes. The squad times are 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The event is hosted by and benefitting the Sarasota-Manatee Men's Hall of Fame. As many of you know, Bill Wenzel was the Chairman of the Men's Hall of Fame and his recent passing left a huge gap in our lives. He will always be remembered with a smile on his face and through this tournament, he will continue to support the Men's Hall of Fame, an organization he was proud to preside over. CENTURY DOUBLES TOURNAMENT
The entry form will soon be available for the Bobby Combs Century Doubles Tournament being held on March 18, 2012, at AMF Venice. The next one will be held on June 17, 2012 at AMF GUlf Gate. Be sure to mark your calendar for these two events.
FLORIDA STATE MEN'S JAMBOREE
Click on this link for a slide show of some of the pins that were decorated by area bowlers for the Florida State Men's Jamboree! Each table had a pin on it as a centerpiece and there were four that raffled through a silent auction. The bowlers and their friends who decorated the pins had a lot of fun and so did the recipients at the banquet! $1,026 was raised for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. PINS FOR THE CAUSE (Due to the size of the slide show, it does take a while to load! But the wait is worth it!!!)

As a new feature of the Website, we'd like to compile a list of "Bowlers in Business." Several companies sponsor teams/leagues, but there were others who perform services you might need and having a list of them would be valuable. It would be great to support a bowler in business, especially in today's economic climate.
