MEN'S HALL OF FAME UPDATE
At the Sarasota-Manatee County Men's Hall of Fame awards ceremony, four nominees were inducted.  Bill Lippman, Ronnie Elliott and Mike Byrd were inducted for Superior Performance and Lyman (Hitch) Baier for Meritorious Service.

Nominations are being accepted for candidates to be considered for induction into the Sarasota-Manatee County Men's Hall of Fame.  If you know a bowler you wish to nominate, please complete the appropriate nomination form and send it to Larry Butler by October 1, 2010.  Larry's address is listed on the application or it can be attached to an e-mail and sent to Mr. Butler at cecilia1970_66@msn.com.

MERITORIOUS SERVICE APPLICATION
   Use this form if your nominee qualifies because of his service to the local bowlers
   and the sport.  A nominee must be a member of the local association for 10 years
   or more.

SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE APPLICATION
   Use this form if your nominee has achieved honors for his bowling ability.  A
   nominee must be a member of the local association for 10 years or more.

WOMEN'S HALL OF FAME UPDATE

At a meeting of the Sarasota-Manatee County Women's Bowling Hall of Fame Committee on January 16, 2010, at Sarasota Lanes, a review was made of the nominees and the following individuals received the required 75% votes and will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in a ceremoney to be held on April 17, 2010, at Sahib Temple.
